The Perry Motorcycle Roller Starter

My name is Blake Perry and I design, build, and sell these motorcycle roller starters.

These units will start any motorcycle made regardless of compression ratio or type of tire used.

Street bikes, dirt track, road race or  full knobby tire MX bikes will be easy to start using a Perry Roller Starter.

Some details about what I build:

I use 1/4 inch thick 6061 aluminum plate for the frame.

The rollers are made using 3 inch diameter DOM structural tubing.

Both rollers are driven, with a chain connecting the rollers.

The starter motor is a Hi Torque starter that is used on a Ford diesel tractor. It is direct coupled to the front roller axle.

I provide a continuous duty heavy duty solenoid used on marine winches and golf carts. It is rated at 90 amps continuous use or 150 amps surge.

The unit is powered by a 12 volt battery which is not furnished.

Each unit comes with a foot switch, marine grade battery cables and an aluminum ramp.

Where welding is required I use the Tig process. The unit can be completely dis-assembled with a couple of common tools in about 15 to 20 minutes if needed.

All hardware, aluminum plate, and electrical items used to build these units is all brand new material.

The unit weighs 45 lbs and is very portable and is easy to store when not in use.

These are high quality units and I guarantee you will be happy with what I build.
